iGolf iPhone App

by iPhone Apps on September 26, 2008

iGolf is a free game for the iPhone that allows you to swing your iPhone like a golf club and see how far you can hit a golf ball.  It tells you how far your ball went and how fast you swung your golf club.  It’s a bit like having a driving range with you wherever you go!

It has a Nintendo Wii feel to the game as it uses the iPhone’s accelerometer.  It is sometimes a bit difficult to control as it will mistakenly swing when you go for a back swing.  iGolf shouldn’t be considered a replacement for practicing your golf swing, but a fun little golf game to help you kill some time.  Be careful not to throw your iPhone against the wall!  iGolf is a free download Created by SGN.  Visit the iGolf home page.

iDialUDrive Hands Free iPhone App

by iPhone Apps on September 25, 2008

The iPhone may be cool, but one thing I will say about it is that it’s a little dangerous trying to dial while you drive.  Now, iDialUDrive is here to make your dial while driving experience safe again!  Dial anyone, hands free from your list of contacts.

iDialUDrive uses your build in contact manager and allows you to create customized lists of people you regularly call.  Touch one button and this hands free app will dial the first entry in your custom call list and automatically dial the next number after your first call has been completed.

iDialUDrive is perfect for making calls while commuting or running errands.  Works with any headset and time between calls is adjustable.  Currently this app sells for $0.99.  Visit the iDialUDrive web site.
